Northern Virginia Competing With Orioles?

An academic analysis shows that a Major League Baseball team in northern Virginia would bring good economic news to that region but bad news to Baltimore and its Orioles.<@SM><@SM><TAB>The <a href="http://baseballinva.org/download/GMUAnalysis.pdf">research</a> by George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., says a stadium in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C., would generate more than $8.6 billion in economic impact, including $693 million in state and local revenues in its first 30 years of operation.
