Top court reverses CSA on interstate custody dispute

A circuit court ruling that Maryland was the proper jurisdiction to decide an interstate custody dispute was an interlocutory order that was not immediately appealable, the Court of Appeals has held. <br /><br />The Court of Special Appeals should not have addressed the merits of David Gruber’s appeal in an opinion issued in November, the state’s top court concluded, rejecting the intermediate appeals court’s rationale for doing so.
