Report: EEOC more successful than private plaintiffs

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says it won 60 percent of its employment discrimination trials in the past five years. That compares with a success rate of nearly 27 percent for private plaintiffs in workplace bias suits, according to the EEOC’s litigation report being released Tuesday.
