Hanger Orthopedic’s profit up 31.4%

Hanger Orthopedic Group Inc., of Bethesda, reported third-quarter net income increased 31.4 percent, to $9.6 million, or 30 cents per diluted share, compared to net income of $7.3 million, or 23 cents per diluted share, in the year-ago period.
