Legislative committee votes to be posted online

ANNAPOLIS — Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller says the Senate will put committee votes online within days after they occur.
Miller says the change won’t need legislation.
Miller also says the goal will be to put committee votes online before legislation comes to the Senate for a full vote.
House Speaker Michael Busch has instructed legislative staff to put committee votes online before legislation reaches the floor of his chamber.
