Arizona REIT completes $29M Triad Center purchase

Healthcare Trust of America Inc., a non-traded, independent REIT based in Scottsdale, Ariz., said it has completed its previously announced acquisition of the approximately 101,400-square-foot Triad Technology Center for $29.25 million.

The building, located on the grounds of the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus in East Baltimore, is 100 percent leased to the National Institutes of Health. The lease has approximately 11 years remaining, according to HTA.

Last year, HTA announced it would pay $11.25 million for the Smyth Professional Building in Northeast Baltimore, a 62,000-square-foot medical office building that is part of Good Samaritan Hospital.
