The United States just doesn’t care about soccer. Kids play it through high school, then maybe in college (a rare few) and thats it. The US just doesnt have any interest in soccer as a professional sport and all of the soccer fans can hold their breath and stomp their feet but it’s just not going to change.

The other difference between last year and this year is that the major stars are not playing because they are still recovering from the World Cup.

Nobody wants to pay $100 a ticket to see reserves play and unfortunately that is the case here.

For example Inter will be without Julio Cesar, Maicon, Lucio, Milito and Wesley Sneijder. Those are big names that are missing, and it those names that bring the fans out.

The tickets are way overpriced for the teams that are playing and the players that will be there.

Thanks David, that is a major detail that Koppleman, an executive, did not include in calculations. Well not all Baltimorians are not dumb after all.

the price of the tickets are way over the top…….$50 for general admission and $150 for special seats?……….no way a normal family can afford that especially when you add food and drink.

I bought a lower level ticket in the Manchester City fan section for $50. I don’t think that’s too overpriced, although it’s still expensive.

I will be there and am hoping for a good match.
