Tina M. Maiolo, a member of Carr Maloney, has been selected as one of three Wise Women by the National Organization of Italian American Women in the D.C. area. The honor recognizes three women who have excelled in their respective professional fields.
Maiolo is certified by the Embassy of Italy in Washington as its official referral contact concerning requests for legal aid from its constituency. She heads the business law practice for Carr Maloney and is a member of the religious institution, civil rights, employment and labor law, and nonprofit and charitable organization practice groups at the firm.
Maiolo is co-author of the firm’s practice manual, Overview of State and Local FEP Laws of DC, MD and VA, having appeared in court in both states and the District.
She serves as General Counsel for corporations, associations and organizations providing daily advice and counseling on employment related matters.
Education: A “double Tribe-ster”: attended the College of William and Mary for both undergraduate and law school.
Daily commute: Anywhere from 40 minutes to 3 hours each way!
Most recent vacation: Turks and Caicos Islands.
