Lisa Loi has joined the audit, accounting, and consulting department of Ellin & Tucker. Loi, who graduated from Stevenson University and holds an advanced accounting certification from University of Maryland University College, was previously a financial business manager for two privately held companies in Maryland. Also, Patricia Kirchner, a Towson University student, will be an interning in the firm’s tax department, and William O’Donnell, a University of Maryland, College Park graduate in the MBA program at Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business, will be an intern in the audit, accounting, and consulting department.
Steven O’Brien, senior staff auditor at Gorfine, Schiller and Gardyn, has been selected for the Business Volunteers Unlimited Maryland’s Getting Involved with Volunteer Experience program. He specializes in not-for-profit audits.

Barry Luciani and Joseph Beam of Susquehanna Bank have been chosen by SmartCEO magazine as two of the top business bankers in the Mid-Atlantic. Luciani is a senior vice president, in charge of the retail banking and business banking sectors for western Baltimore County, Howard and Carroll counties. Beam is vice president, branch manager of Susquehanna’s Timonium office. He has a degree in business administration from Towson University.
Randy Hartmann has joined the Stoehr Companies, of Eldersburg, as a project manager, primarily overseeing new base building projects and large-scale renovations. For the past seven years he was a project manager with Keller Bros., of Mt. Airy. Stoehr Construction is a full-service commercial general contracting firm.
Mary Funke has been appointed president of the Institute of Notre Dame, in Baltimore, effective July 1. She is a past dean of students at the College of Notre Dame. For the past seven years she has been president of N Street Village, which provides services for women in need in Washington, D.C. She won the 2008 NAMI Heroes in the Fight Award and the 2007 EXCEL Award for demonstrating excellence in chief executive leadership in the Washington-area nonprofit community.
Ronald D. Eure has been named installation sales manager of the Fireline Corp., based in Baltimore. Eure previously was Fireline’s fire alarm sales representative in the Washington, D.C., market.
