ANNAPOLIS — Gov. Martin O’Malley and U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski are attending the launch of a cyber-security program in Baltimore County.
University of Maryland, Baltimore County’s “bwtech” business incubator plans to work with Northrop Grumman’s “Cync Program” to spur jobs in protecting national digital infrastructure.
The first two companies selected for the cyber-security program will be announced Thursday at the university.
O’Malley has put bringing cyber-security jobs in Maryland at the center of a five-year economic development plan for the state.
