Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge W. Michel Pierson says electricity has been restored to the top four floors of the Courthouse East building.
Normal operations will resume in the courthouse on Wednesday after two days of limited function, according to Pierson.
On Monday morning, trials were suspended after staff arrived to find the elevators out of service and lighting limited above the building’s second floor following the weekend’s storm. The Clarence M. Mitchell Jr. Courthouse was unaffected by the power outage.
Pierson said the civil trials that were suspended will be rescheduled and the criminal trial schedule will continue where it left off on Monday.
