Sylvan Learning Inc. of Baltimore, a provider of supplemental educational services and online tutoring, launched “Fit 4 Algebra,” a free online tool to help parents assess whether their child is on track for the critical “gateway” subject.
It consists of a 21-question algebra readiness check-up, which tests the key skills identified by the National Mathematics Advisory Panel as providing the basic foundation for algebra.
After their child completes the screener, parents will receive diagnostic results that highlight both strengths and problem areas.
Additionally, parents will have immediate access to valuable free resources aligned to the skill areas where students need additional improvement.
