BEL AIR — A Harford County judge has denied bail for a 16-year-old boy accused of killing his father and dumping the body in a pond behind a relative’s house.
Robert C. Richardson III is charged with first-and-second degree murder and the use of a handgun in the commission of a violent crime in the death of Robert C. Richardson Jr. The judge denied bail for the teenager on Wednesday, a day after the freshman at C. Milton Wright High School was arrested.
Authorities have said that the father was killed with a handgun but they have not announced who owned the gun or said how many times it was fired.
Richardson is accused of shooting his father and driving to a relative’s house in Aberdeen to dispose of the body.

The boy should be released on bail – he was abused. Also, he should not be guilty of murder – he needs mental help and then set free to finally live his life in peace.
