Horne to co-chair MSBA subcommittee

Robert M. Horne

Robert M. Horne, an associate of the Baltimore firm Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler, has been selected to co-chair the Maryland State Bar Association’s Wills, Trusts & Estates Subcommittee to the Special Committee on Voir Dire.

Horne focuses his practice on tax, estates and trusts, and business transactions. He also counsels personal representatives and trustees throughout the estate and/or trust administration process, and consults with his firm’s litigation department in wills, estates and trust disputes.

Horne joined the firm in 2005 after serving as a judicial law clerk for the Orphans’ Court for Baltimore City.

He is a member of the Estate and Gift Tax Study Group, the Baltimore Estate Planning Council and the Bar Association of Baltimore City’s young lawyers’ section.

Horne also serves on the MSBA’s estates and trust law, business law and young lawyers sections.

Education: Severna Park High School; Towson University; University of Maryland School of Law.

Resides in: Lutherville

Daily commute: 10 miles, 45 minutes, “straight” down I-83.

Recent vacation: I had a few days off when my daughter was born this past May.

Hobbies: Playing with kids. Walking dogs.

Favorite books: “Catch-22” by Joseph Heller. “Non-Zero: The Logic of Human Destiny” by Robert Wright.

Most recently read: “Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal” by Ayn Rand. Also, a significant portion of the Dr. Seuss collection.

Favorite food: Kosher Salt- and Pepper-Seasoned Prime Strip Steak cooked medium rare over wood charcoal with a hint of apple wood smoke.
