1080p refers to vertical resolution refreshed progressively in a standard that is 1920 pixels wide, resulting in just over two million pixels in a Full HD image. 4K refers to a standard with a 4096 x 2160 pixel resolution, or almost nine million pixels in total.

This is what happens when media won’t hire people who know writing, won’t spend time and money on quality checks, believes that people who don’t know a topic are able to write or review subject matter as well as people who do know the topic, and it doesn’t appear that anyone bothered to scan a few search-engine results for even basic information.
