FREDERICK — Frederick city officials are hoping to restore the shine to a tarnished retail strip known locally as the Golden Mile.
The mayor and Board of Aldermen are voting Thursday night on a resolution to adopt a plan for redevelopment of that stretch of U.S. 40.
The plan would rezone some areas to encourage development.
It also would establish a code regarding building design.
