Ezekiel cereals take a hit

Giant Food, of Landover, said it removed several varieties of Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Grain Cereals from its supermarkets following a recall by the manufacturer, Food for Life Baking Co., due to undeclared almond, an allergen, on the ingredient label.
The recall affects the Original, Golden Flax and Cinnamon Raisin cereal varieties. Customers who purchased these cereals should discard them or bring the purchase receipt back to Giant for a refund. The Ezekiel 4:9 passage in the Bible reads, in part: “… [T]ake wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt, and put them into a single vessel, and make bread of them. …”
