St. Mary’s College of Maryland has been named to the 2013 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. Since 2006, the Community Service Honor Roll has recognized institutions of higher education that support exemplary community service programs and raise the visibility of best practices in campus-community partnerships.
It is overseen by the Corporation for National and Community Service in collaboration with the U.S. departments of Education and Housing and Urban Development, as well as the American Council on Education and Campus Compact. This is the second time the public liberal arts college in St. Mary’s City has made the honor roll; the first was in 2011.
