Chaos follows House gas tax vote

Republican members of the House of Delegates erupted in an angry verbal protest Friday afternoon after many said they weren't given the opportunity to explain their vote -- as is customary -- on sweeping legislation that would increase taxes and fees, mostly to pay for transportation projects.

  1. Bad news come election time. There will be a lot of fresh faces due to this. Those budgets for supplies and transportation and staffers are being milled over and I sense a large ousting coming up. People are fuming and waiting to jump on the gun legislation as a reason to blow the powderkeg. Remember Maryland saved the Union, this is the thanks we get? To Hell with Mike Miller
