Discovery Communications unveils new STEM initiative

Discovery Communications Inc., of Bethesda, a media company whose holdings include 155 worldwide television networks, as well as a variety of educational products and services, announced a new multimedia, national STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education initiative called “Connect the Dots,” aimed at inspiring youngsters’ interest in STEM subjects.
