UM med student shares innovation prize

Veena S. Katikineni, a second-year medical student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, has been named co-winner of an open innovation challenge sponsored by Johnson & Johnson and Scientists Without Borders seeking ideas to increase awareness and utilization of mental health services for depression and anxiety disorders among patients in the developing world.
