When actor Matthew McConaughey was a teen, he had a lot of acne.
So, he did what any future Oscar-winning star would do and sued the company that made the mink oil he used to treat his sputtering pores.
Eventually, McConaughey wised up and saw a dermatologist, the actor told Jimmy Fallon on the ‘Tonight Show.’And three years later, when it came time to go to court, McConaughey was too good-looking to make his case — the opposing counsel produced a copy of his high school yearbook in which he was named, “Most Handsome.”
McConaughey lost the lawsuit and his family lost $35,000 in legal costs.
Though he may not have won that day, McConaughey went on to win an Oscar for his role in Dallas Buyer’s Club this year and, more importantly, the title of Sexiest Man Alive in 2005.
So, in the end, everything turned out all right, all right, all right.
