The place where you rest your head at night should be trustworthy, right?
Maybe that’s why 31 hotel and resort brands made it onto Entrepreneur magazine’s list of the 120 most trusted brands.
One Maryland-based hotel giant, Marriott International Inc., has landed several of its brands on the list.
The results, released Tuesday, were based on a survey of 5,090 Entrepreneur readers who were asked which, of more than 900 brands, were most deserving of emotional attachment, respect and continued patronage.
Four of Marriott’s brands — Residence Inn, Courtyard, JW and TownePlace Suites — landed in the top 100.
The highest ranking of the four, Residence Inn, landed in 24th place, sixth among hotel brands.
Hilton and Hyatt also landed multiple brands on the list.
Interestingly, another heavy hitter on the list was alcohol, with 18 brands.
In other words, many of those surveyed associate good feelings with brands such as Patrón, Maker’s Mark, The Glenlivet and Bacardi… shocker.
