“Johnny Sanchez” will feed Horseshoe patrons

The Horseshoe Casino Baltimore won’t just have poker chips. It just might have some tortilla chips too.

Horseshoe announced Monday that John Besh and Aarón Sánchez, both of television fame, will be collaborating on the casino’s restaurant — a taqueria named “Johnny Sánchez.”

The two became friends while competing on the first season of “Next Iron Chef” on the Food Network. Their Mexican restaurant will serve “the food that John and I love to cook when we’re hanging out together having fun,” Sánchez said.

The restaurant, with seating for 222, will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. The casino property is set to open this summer.
