Following Under Armour’s share holder’s meeting on Tuesday, CEO Kevin Plank wasn’t saying much about the Port Covington property in South Baltimore he has been rumored to have an interest in.
When he was asked about the property he told reporters: “no comment.”
He did have an opinion about a story in The Sun last month that linked Sagamore Spirit, named after Plank’s horse farm in Baltimore County, to the South Baltimore property.
“That wasn’t appropriate commentary,” Plank said.
Plank added that the distillery is still in the preliminary stages.
He also discussed Under Armour’s new Latrobe Park athletic facility, which includes a new turf field and lighting and will be the new home for Digital Harbor High School’s football team. The field is expected to be completed this summer.
