Apps are taking over real estate.
Rockville-based MRIS, a multiple listing service, has partnered with Homesnap to provide 44,000 customers with complimentary subscriptions to the Homesnap Pro app.
The app allows real estate agents to take a photo of a property and it will pull information from MRIS and public records. Features on the app include confidential listings, commission splits and public school ratings.
“Agents were our original power users, and Homesnap Pro puts the agent-quality MLS information they need into an awesome mobile app. MRIS is known in the industry for technology innovation, which made them the perfect launch partner for us,” Guy Wolcott, co-founder and CEO of Homesnap, said in a news release.
