Medical malpractice case dismissed; attorney cited for ‘chronic disregard’

A Maryland appeals court took the unusual step last week of assailing a lawyer — in a reported opinion — for his “chronic disregard” of discovery requests and “nonchalant failure” to comply with a judge’s order, misbehavior that the court said justified the judge’s dismissal of the attorney’s medical malpractice case.
