Pikesville physical therapist brings relief to the masses

It may seem like an odd idea to use a brace on the lower leg to control pain in the lower back. But to the inventor, Akiva Shmidman, a physical therapist from Pikesville, this method has been proven time and again since he tried it on a patient almost a decade ago.
