A Queenstown estate built for the son of Chef Boyardee heads to auction later this month.
The Penderyn Estate has a 22,500 square-foot home, with 2,000 square feet of shoreline on an 18-acre peninsula on the Wye River and is valued at $29 million. DeCaro Luxury Estate Auctions will sell the property to the highest bidder on July 19.
“The Penderyn Estate was originally built for Mario Boiardi, whose father is best known as Chef Boyardee,” Daniel DeCaro, DeCaro Luxury Real Estate Auctions founder and auctioneer, said in a news release. “The impeccable handmade-brick mansion is surrounded by gorgeous trees, beautiful meadows, formal courtyards and panoramic views of the shoreline. The current homeowner took great care to maintain the authentic elements of the estate and is offering luxury homebuyers an unrivaled purchasing opportunity.”
The home features a 22-seat formal dinning room, a swimming pool and a heated four-car garage.
Prospective buyers are free to tour the estate on the weekends between 1–4 p.m.
