UB Law center one of “most impressive law school buildings”

A year after the University of Baltimore’s new John and Frances Angelos Law Center opened on North Charles Street and Mt. Royal Avenue, the building has been named one of the 50 most impressive law school buildings in the world.

Landing at #43 on Best Choice Schools’ list, the center ranked above Yale Law School’s Sterling Law Building and Stanford Law School’s William H. Neukom Building.

Best Choice Schools described UB Law’s building, which received a LEED Platinum certification — the highest rating the U.S. Green Building Council awards — as “one of the city’s greenest and most energy efficient structures.”

The Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, the highest-ranked law building in the U.S., took the number three spot on the list, while the first and second place rankings both went to law schools in the United Kingdom.

Wow! US News really got scooped on this. Any information on where Cooley’s building ranked?

Well, since you ask: Cooley (ahem) beat UB Law, at #35. UM Carey did not make this particular list — but we still think it’s lovely.
