Jeffrey Van Grack, who loved coaching high-school football as much as he did practicing law, died last week after a brave battle with bladder cancer. He was 60.
During football season, Van Grack would spend his days counseling homeowners’ associations and his early evenings advising teenagers in the skills needed for special teams and to succeed in life.
Van Grack was a respected partner at Lerch, Early & Brewer Chtd. in Bethesda — but former players at Northwest High School in Germantown and at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, his alma mater, will remember him as “coach.”
This 2009 profile of Van Grack’s love of coaching appeared in The Daily Record.
