Are you a young lawyer? Do you like to write? Would you like to write about being a young lawyer?
Generation J.D. is looking for new voices for the blog. (If you’re not familiar with the blog, click here.) The blog posts are spaces where you can vent about cases, give advice or seek advice. It’s a space where you can talk about the challenges of finding work/life balance (a popular blog topic) or demonstrate how you do it. You can also comment on events of the day, be they serious or silly.
We are looking for people who can commit to writing an average of two posts a month, or every other week. We’ll even assign you a day of the week so you can enter it into your Outlook or Google calendars.
What do you get in return for blogging, besides our gratitude? Contributors get a bio and photo on our website so people will stop you when walk down the street. We also will promote your posts on The Daily Record’s social media channels. And, since the blog posts are not behind our paywall, even your mother can read them!
If all of this sounds like your cup of tea, please leave a message in the comments section or send me an email.
