ESPN has reported that Roc Nation Sports, which represents Kevin Durant, told Nike Wednesday that Under Armour has offered Durant an endorsement deal worth between $265 million and $285 million.
The deal reportedly includes stock in the growing company as well as other incentives, like a community center built in Durant’s mother’s name.
According to ESPN, Durant is required to sign again with Nike if the company matches Under Armour’s offer. He can also choose to sign with Nike again if the company chooses not to match its competitor’s offer.
If Under Armour wins, it would be the company’s largest endorsement deal to date.
