Cheskis has been in the transportation engineering industry for nearly two decades. His broad range of experience as a civil engineer in transportation and land development design projects includes horizontal and vertical alignment of roadways, drainage design, coordination of utility relocation, cost estimating, erosion and sediment control, and grading.
Cheskis spent nearly five years working as a designer on the Dulles Corridor Metrorail project in northern Virginia and seven years on the Intercounty Connector project in Maryland. He is a professional engineer in Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia and the District of Columbia and an erosion and sediment control designer in Maryland.
