Eye Opener: Hall, Alston hearing starts Tuesday

Here’s a few government and politics headlines around the state this Tuesday morning:
- The Washington Post reports on the start of a hearing that could decide if Prince George’s County businessman Greg Hall must be accepted as the replacement for Del. Tiffany Alston.
- The Gazette reports a federal agency owes the sanitary commission that services Montgomery and Prince George’s counties almost $1 million.
- MarylandReporter.com reports that some think bodies that conduct closed meetings in violation of the Open Meetings Act need to be penalized.
- The Baltimore Sun reports that former Montgomery County Executive Doug Duncan’s plan to run again for the post has created some political havoc in Maryland’s largest jurisdiction.
