Eye Opener: Clinton would be ‘great president,’ O’Malley says
By: Alexander Pyles
Here’s a few government and politics headlines on a Monday when Washington-area football fans are probably in a better mood than those of us in Baltimore:
- The Washington Post recaps a local television appearance by Gov. Martin O’Malley, in which he said Hillary Clinton would be a “great president” if she chose to run in 2016.
- The Baltimore Sun asks whether State House staffers should be able to move immediately from those jobs into the lobbying circuit.
- The Frederick News-Post reports on a builders’ groups complaint about too-strict Maryland regulations.
- MarylandReporter.com reports that a state election official said early voting should be expanded only if high voter turnout is expected.
