By: Alexander Pyles
Given Sunday’s results, it seems Lt. Gov. Anthony G. Brown will be wearing the colors of the Baltimore Ravens at the Feb. 6 Board of Public Works meeting.
No word on which jersey Brown, a Redskins fan, might choose.
Here’s a few government and politics headlines for Monday morning:
- MarylandReporter.com reports House of Delegates Speaker Michael E. Busch, D-Anne Arundel, tried to debunk the so-called “war on rural Maryland” last week.
- The Frederick News-Post reports on the less-talked-about “milk cliff.”
- The Herald-Mail reports on the Washington County delegation’s focus in the upcoming General Assembly.
- The Washington Post reports that Sen. Ulysses Currie, D-Prince George’s, plans to seek reelection following the end of a long ethics inquiry last year.
