- The Washington Post reports Gov. Martin O’Malley will support an amendment to his gun control bill that would make it more difficult for the mentally ill to get firearms.
- Patch.com reports a bill that would have allowed a partially-elected school board in Baltimore County was killed by the county’s Senate delegation.
- MarylandReporter.com reports some are pushing lawmakers to force older drivers to have their license renewed more frequently.
