The creation of Leading Women was announced during The Daily Record’s 15th anniversary of its Top 100 Women event — and with good reason.

Top 100 Women honors women who are at the pinnacle of their career and making a sustained impact on their business, community and our state. We believe it is time to connect those women with the next generation of women leaders — Maryland’s future.

Leading Women identifies fifty women who are forty years old or younger for the tremendous accomplishments they have made so far in their careers. They are judged on professional experience, community involvement and their commitment to inspiring change.

The organizations that sponsor Leading Women are honoring Maryland’s future women leaders and providing an opportunity for women to learn from each other and build mentoring relationships to last a lifetime.
