Henry A. Deford and Michael J. Gioioso have joined Lutherville-based MacKenzie Retail LLC as real estate advisors.

Deford, born and raised in the Baltimore area, is a graduate of The Boys’ Latin School and holds a B.A. in business administration from Elon University in North Carolina. Previously he was responsible for the leasing and management of more than 500,000 square feet on behalf of a local boutique firm in downtown Baltimore.

Gioioso comes from a family of commercial real estate entrepreneurs, and his experience includes the development, construction, maintenance, leasing and management of some of Towson’s most prominent office buildings. A graduate of Loyola Blakefield and a Mount St. Mary’s University alum, he volunteers with local chapters of the Susan B. Komen Foundation and Education Based Latino Outreach.
