Lewin joins the University of Maryland as VP for international affairs
Ross Lewin has been named associate vice president for international affairs at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Lewin is currently executive director of the Office of Global Programs at the University of Connecticut, where he has nearly quadrupled student participation.
Lewin is expected to start at Maryland on July 30, replacing Jonathan Wilkenfeld, who holds the post on an interim basis.
In his new role, Lewin will report jointly to the President Wallace Loh and to Senior Vice President and Provost Ann Wylie.
