Olmstead honored by Radiological Society of North America

William W. OlmsteadDr. William W. Olmstead, clinical professor of diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, has been awarded The Radiological Society of North America’s 2012 Gold Medal.

The Gold Medal is RSNA’s highest honor awarded each year “to individuals who have rendered exemplary service to the science of radiology.”

Olmsted, one of just three recipients of this national award, is also a staff radiologist at the Baltimore VA Medical Center.
