Tim Watkins, president and CEO of Renegade Communications, has been named to the One Love Foundation’s National Advisory Counsel. Watkins produced the One Love Foundation’s powerful public service announcement which is part of their “Be 1 for Change” campaign which launched earlier this year.

In an effort to help the Foundation combat Relationship Violence, Watkins will provide expertise on future multimedia projects and marketing materials. He will assist with the branding of the Foundation as well as promotional opportunities and visual aids which will help the One Love Foundation grow to a nationally recognized voice against relationship violence. Watkins will also serve as a Foundation spokesperson, as well as provide guidance and resources to enhance education programs One Love will be working to implement throughout the United States.

Watkins is a frequently requested speaker and panelist in industry conferences and forums. Additionally, Watkins directed the soon-to-be-released documentary, “The Blood & The Rose,” and co-directed the 2004 Ronald Reagan Cold-War-era documentary, “In The Face of Evil: Reagan’s War in Word and Deed.” Watkins supports a variety of nonprofit groups and is a member of Legatus, an organization of Catholic CEOs.

In the latter part of 2012, the One Love Foundation launched a national education campaign to combat Relationship Violence. The initiative, geared towards 16 to 24-year-olds, aims to educate, empower and enlighten young people via a powerful Public Service Announcement and their free and anonymous One Love Danger Assessment Application available for smart phones. The PSA and DA App make up phase one of their “Be 1 for Change” initiative that will serve as the base of a long-term campaign to combat Relationship Violence in the United States.
