As an associate and civil project manager in MRA’s Towson office, Coughlin’s primary responsibilities include the day-to-day supervision, management, design, and quality control of site development projects in Maryland’s Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, and Howard Counties, as well as Baltimore City.
Coughlin’s design experience includes site layout, grading, roadway, storm drain, water, gravity sewer design, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and dam breach analysis in both commercial and residential subdivision projects. Coughlin is experienced in developing alternatives analyses to evaluate cost effective design options, and in solving unique design problems with significant site constraints.
Coughlin is a Maryland-registered professional engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional. He received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Villanova University. He is a member of NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association, the National and Maryland Society of Professional Engineers, and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
Current projects that Coughlin is working on include: Brightview Perry Hall, Merritt Park Shopping Center, and The Reserve at Camp Chapel. Recent high-profile projects Coughlin has worked on include: Towson Green, Meadowvale, Carriage Hills, and Brightview Towson.
