Newcomb reappointed as director of Federal Reserve Branch
Anita G. Newcomb, president and managing director of Columbia-based A.G. Newcomb & Co., has been reappointed to a three-year term as director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond’s Baltimore branch.
Newcomb has been a director of the Baltimore branch since 2010.
With more than three decades of experience in the financial services industry as a commercial banker, investment banker, and strategic consultant, Newcomb founded A.G. Newcomb in 1999. The firm specializes in helping community banks strategically position themselves in a highly competitive market.
Prior to establishing the consulting firm Newcomb was an investment banker and senior consultant to the banking industry for a decade.
Newcomb has built a national reputation advising some of the country’s most successful banks and companies that interface with banks on a wide range of corporate development activities from strategic planning, consumer and business banking strategy and management assessments, to financial forecasts, branch transactions, and value and structuring acquisitions.
