Curtis promoted, Benhoff and DeTroia join Abel Communications
Adam Curtis, who joined Abel Communications in October 2011 as an account executive, was recently promoted to account manager. Curtis will continue to provide results-driven media relations, content creation, social media, and client management services to Abel clients in variety of industries, with a focus on consumer and enterprise technology.
A graduate of Brown University, Adam’s diverse professional background includes on-air experience as a disc jockey and production director for Clear Channel Radio.
Courtney Benhoff has joined Abel as an account manager. She previously worked at Marketplace Books, where she managed the development, production and marketing of educational content for the trading and finance industry. At Abel, Courtney will focus on content development, media relations, and strategic planning services for a variety of accounts including CARCHEX, CohnReznick, and Force 3.
A Clemson University graduate, Courtney’s experience also includes a role as marketing manager with Geppi’s Entertainment.
Lauren DeTroia has accepted a full-time role at Abel as assistant account executive. She previously worked as an intern and part-time employee at Abel. DeTroia will support several accounts with research and media list development, media outreach, and social media campaign development.
DeTroia graduated from Towson University in 2012 with a degree in mass communications.
