In his new position, Cardamone will work with clients in Montgomery, Prince George’s, Charles, St. Mary’s and Calvert counties and Washington, D.C.
Cardamone knows firsthand about franchise ownership as a result of being a client of FranNet starting in 1999. He owns two Huntington Learning Center sites, one each in Waldorf and Gambrills. His experience in buying franchises over the past 14 years gives his FranNet clients greater insights into navigating the process.
Prior to his involvement in Huntington Learning Center, Cardamone owned Reliant Services Inc., a commercial property management company. He also spent 25 years in management at Montgomery Ward, serving as operations manager at the Laurel and Hyattsville stores and general manager of the distribution centers in Landover and Brandywine.
Cardamone has been a member of the Charles County Board of Education Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee since 2006 and served as president from 2009-12. A Laurel native, he has also been active with the Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad, Inc., as an EMT since 1976. Cardamone is past chairman of the board of directors and a life member.
Cardamone holds a bachelor’s degree in business and management from the University of Maryland College Park.
