Baltimore Community Foundation elects board trustees, chair

Ray Bank

The Baltimore Community Foundation has elected Ellen N. Bernard, Wes Moore, and Paul C. Wolman III to its board of trustees. Raymond L. Bank was elected to chair the board, succeeding E. Robert Kent Jr., who has been named trustee emeritus.

Bank, a trustee since 2008 who served as treasurer before being elected chair, is founder and principal of Raymond L. Bank & Associates and past president of the board of Gilman School.

Ellen Bernard

Bernard was a founding member and currently serves as co-chair of the Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle. She also chairs the board of the Baltimore Choral Arts Society and is an officer of the Walters Art Museum and a member of OSI Baltimore’s advisory council.

Wes Moore

Moore is a youth advocate, Army combat veteran, bestselling author of The Other Wes Moore, and host of “Beyond Belief” on the Oprah Winfrey Network. While a student at Johns Hopkins he founded STAND!, which works with Baltimore youth involved in the criminal justice system.

Wolman is founder, chairman and CEO of Feats, Inc., an events company that provides design, marketing, communication, and production services. He chairs the Greater Baltimore Committee’s Leadership Board and co-chairs the National Academy Foundation Leadership Advisory Council.
