Ray named executive chef at Vino Rosina

Devlyn Ray

Vino Rosina is pleased to announce the promotion of Devlyn Ray to the position of executive chef. Ray moves into this new role after working for the past year as sous chef at the upscale wine bar and restaurant in Baltimore’s Harbor East.

Ray is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including training and working alongside staff. Committed to use of locally sourced products, he plans seasonal menus to accompany Vino Rosina’s extensive selection of more than 65 international wines and prominent cocktail infusions.

Along with General Manager Joshua Barbour, Ray plans special events, offering small plate options as well as five-course dinners with paired wines for private parties, corporate events, weddings and other celebratory occasions.

Ray is a University of Maryland graduate and has previously worked as a chef at Sam’s on the Waterfront in Annapolis. Originally a fiction writer, he continues to enjoy writing in his spare time, as well as playing tennis. He lives in Baltimore City, where he has resided for two years.

Parthemos joins Vino Rosina

Vino Rosina has appointed Antonia “Tina” Parthemos as Assistant Manager. Parthemos previously worked as a bartender and dining room manager at an upscale wine bar and restaurant, in Harbor East.

Parthemos is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the facility, including product ordering and inventory management for the bar and restaurant, while working alongside  General Manager Joshua Barbour.

Parthemos attended Towson University and worked previously as a real estate agent. She has also worked in several other local food and beverage establishments throughout her career, including Red Star Bar and Grill, Pazo and Luckies Tavern in Power Plant. She was born and raised in Greektown and continues to reside in Baltimore.

Parthemos aspires to one day own her own restaurant.
