Salisbury University has honored Del. Adrienne Jones, D-Baltimore County, the first African-American woman to serve as Speaker Pro Tem of the Maryland House of Delegates, with its 2012 John R. Hargreaves Distinguished Legislative Fellowship. Jones will visit the campus this spring to speak to students through the Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement.

Brian T. Allen has joined the Gross, Mendelsohn & Associates P.A.’s Technology Solutions Group as a junior network consultant/engineer. Previously, Allen worked for America’s Remote Help Desk. Allen graduated from Salisbury University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is CompTIA A+ and Network+ certified.
